Winter 2019

Fashion Show illustrations for promotional material at Bellevue Collection fashion Week in Seattle

I had a large project to illustrate the scene of Bellevue- a luxury shopping mall in Seattle during the summer for their Fall 2019 runway shows. I had to fit a certain amount of figures onto the background which were also to be used independently for billboards, flyers, VIP passes and giveaway tote bags. It was a lovely job to work on and was great to finally see the printed material in September.

Trend report for Autumn/Winter 2019 illustrated by Jacqueline Bissett

Jacqueline illustrates the trends that we should be looking to wear this Autumn. New trouser shapes include wide and flared hems in jeans, large scale checks worn with capes, tight bodysuits and large fake fur jackets. Lace dresses and blouses featured at Yves Saint Laurent and Christopher Kane. Colour blocking featured widely among the collections at Ann Demeulemeester , Gucci, Prabal Gurung and Nina Ricci. Utility is a huge trend at Stella McCartney with large florals and capes abound at Richard Quinn. Oversized windowpane checks including giant dogtooth were shown at Chanel with elegant hats which featured, bucket-style at Gucci and Nina Ricci and many others. Accessorizing is huge this season!

Enjoy your new looks for the season, always a favourite after wearing flip flops and shorts all summer!

Wishing all of you a very Happy New Year!

I had the joy recently of collaborating with fantastic illustrator/animator Gary Mayes. Whilst preparing for a job we realised that we had a little time and it would be beneficial for us to do a little ‘test’, what better way than to wish you all a ‘Happy New Year’ ?!

I drew approx. 150 frames which then Gary took away and worked his magic.

I hope you enjoy our little ‘film’ and look forward to showing you more collaborations soon

Best wishes for 2019

Louis Vuitton Pre Christmas Brunch on Sloane Street, Jacqueline illustrates special guests

I had the pleasure a couple of weeks before Xmas to sit in Louis Vuitton’s Sloane Street Boutique whilst special customers did their Xmas shopping, trying on the latest collection of LV bags, scarves, shoes and clothing from their Winter collection. I decided to use brush pens at this event for the first time due to the cream carpet. I’ve never actually spilt any ink at an event but as there were children and even dogs present, I decided to ‘play it safe’! It made or a challenging morning but I really enjoyed chatting with the guests and their families whilst sketching away- a great Christmas vibe in Knightsbridge!
