Wishing all of you a very Happy New Year!

I had the joy recently of collaborating with fantastic illustrator/animator Gary Mayes. Whilst preparing for a job we realised that we had a little time and it would be beneficial for us to do a little ‘test’, what better way than to wish you all a ‘Happy New Year’ ?!

I drew approx. 150 frames which then Gary took away and worked his magic.

I hope you enjoy our little ‘film’ and look forward to showing you more collaborations soon

Best wishes for 2019

Naia commission Jacqueline to illustrate for their animation and stand at Première Vision in Paris

I worked on a huge animation project with Uber Digital design company on hundreds of sketches animated by Uber for a short film to show their sustainable, nature fibre product. The digital illustrations on iPad Pro using Procreate showed 3 different looks ‘Slounge’, ‘Urban’ and ‘Bar Noir’ in relevant settings which I also illustrated along with nature elements. The very talented crew at Uber Digital in London used Rotoscope animation to create a wonderful short film. Jacqueline and Kathy Wyatt team up to illustrate guest portraits for Bvlgari in St. Moritz, Switzerland.

Kathy and I were invited to stay at Badrutt's Palace Hotel in St. Moritz to draw fashion portraits of their special guests for an event to celebrate 100 years of jewellery watch making. It was an informative talk in a beautiful suite in the world famous luxury ski resort. We prepared 'poses' before the event so watches could be photographed and printed onto watercolour paper which we then drew the portraits. The event was a huge success, Kathy and I managed to draw nearly 40 portraits between us in 3 hours. To view Kathy's work please visit www.kathywyatt.com . Sketching at Soho House Festival on Hampstead Heath with Private Drama Events

I had a very exciting day last week at Soho House's Festival at Kenwood House. It was a hot day and my first time working at a festival outdoors. Luckily I had a shady spot on the edge of Private Drama's marquee where I was able to cast an odd glance at the amazing acts of circus-style performers. Their theme was very much 'The Greatest Showman' Vaudeville style with traditional acts being off-centred and updated, I felt honoured to be a part of their very grand marquee.

Bloomsbury Publishing commission jacqueline to illustrate a wonderful new Italian lifestyle book by Kamin Mohammadi

Had a lovely commission nearly 2 years ago to illustrate the cover for this book, it was then shelved for a year and when it returned, the cover was changed slightly and internal illustrations were added to each chapter. It's a really fun, playful read of Mohammadi's relocation to Florence and an insightful journey into this new world after a busy career, writing in London.

Jacqueline's next event was also for a luxury brand jeweller, this time in Selfridges for Bulgari.

At the end of April, Jacqueline spent time in The Wonder Room at Selfridges drawing customers at a most unique event. Bulgari were showcasing Elizabeth Taylor's private collection of jewels. Famously passionate for the brand,  the diamond encrusted snakehead seen on the bracelet that she wore in the film 'Cleopatra' has since adorned many of Bulgari's unique designs from handbags to diamond rings. I drew customers' portraits onto paper which had been printed with a photograph of a stunning Liz Taylor necklace so they could even 'take it home with them'! (or at least an image on paper!)

Jacqueline flies to Paris for DeBeers' promotional event at their prestigious showroom on Rue De La Paix

In April Jacqueline flew to Paris to meet her Paris agent Marie Bastille (www.mariebastille.com). An early start at De Beers and a very long day sketching, first of all press and then customers at the launch of their wedding collection. Jacqueline sat amongst beautiful diamond engagement, wedding and eternity rings, it was the perfect atelier for the day- it was an unusual job as DeBeers wanted pencil sketches with a little soft pink watercolour to show off the diamonds.

Diamonds are definitely a girl's best friend!

Vogue Japan commissions Jacqueline to illustrate their fortune teller's guide to careers in 2018 for social network platforms

Another creative commission from last month came from Yu Soga at Vogue Japan. I was asked to create loose watercolours inspired by keywords such as 'Concentration','Share', 'BrushUp'& 'Master'. The promotion was for Pola, a luxury anti-aging skincare range, featured a month over the Xmas/ New Year period on Twitter and other networks.
